May 26th - June 2nd

The week started off well with some regular guests, Kev and Nick, Kev having 2 carp - 23lb, 32lb and 2 catfish 32lb and a 20lb + and Nick having 2 carp - 23lb and 28lb.

Then everything went quiet on the big lake with a brown algae bloom... decisions were made to stop fishing the big lake for a couple of days as the algae bloom usually lasts for 48 hours! Kev and Nick agreed it would be better for the carp if left alone so they went onto the cat lake for the rest of the week - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, just fishing days.

The following cats were caught:

- Nick - 8 cats up to 42lb
- Kev - 10 cats, 2 biggest 58lb and a new PB of 84lb!!
