On-Site Tackle, Bait and Snack Shop

Here at Etang Des Royales we have a tackle shop offering our guests a good selection of terminal tackle, rig components, leads, floats, feeders and accessories.

We keep a large stock of our frozen boilies Royales Reds and Banana Royales for the colder temperatures. All our particles are cooked on site, so as to be fresh and not frozen – hemp, maize, pigeon conditioner. Please note, all particles used on our lakes have to be purchased from us on site.

We also provide a stock of food – chocolate, sweets, drinks, biscuits, cakes, crisps, wine, beer and many other items you may have forgotten. And if we haven’t got what you want (with some exceptions), we will try to accommodate you.

The Royales Reds

After using our Royales Blacks for 5 years, although giving our customers many good catches and the fish gaining weight by the year, we think the fish could do with a change of taste!!! We may well return to this bait in 3 or 4 years time, until then Royales Reds are the order of the day. Ben and I have been testing this bait since august 2008 and are both more than happy with the results they have achieved. Royales Reds are based on a mid protein base mix, also containing predigested fishmeal, a blend of seven different spices and robin red making this bait a highly digestable and nutritional mix. They are available in 18mm and 22mm. Our winter bait, Banana Royales will stay with us available in 18mm. All baits are freshly frozen by us.

Should you wish to purchase any extra bait from our on-site shop during your stay, the bait is charged still at 12 € per kilo.

Also available on-site we have pop-ups in both Royales Reds and Banana Royales, these are available in 18mm and supplied in a tub of approx 25 baits.

Pop-ups are charged at 6 € from our on-site shop.

All our bait is exclusively prepared to our receipe and hand rolled by Ace Baits in the UK. This bait in NOT available for sale other than here at Etang Des Royales.
